Car night vision systems have been designed for the very issue that was aforementioned. With car night vision systems, driving at night will certainly be a lot safer, specifically if you travel through a route with inadequate lighting on a frequent basis. There are other systems however which are less efficient as they simply function using infrared. While it is ideal for spotting animals or people, these systems will not detect rocks or perhaps a dead animal that is obstructing the path on the road which can be dangerous.
While car night vision systems are relatively expensive (about $2000), considering the reduction of risk while you are on the road with these devices, they should be certainly considered by every driver.
